Successfully completed the three-day CERT basic training course. A variety of subjects were covered, including Disaster Medical Operations, Mass Casualty Incidents, Establishing Medical Treatment Areas (triage), Conducting Head-to-Toe Assessments, and light Search and Rescue. A realistic Disaster Simulation was the final testing component of the class in which instructors injected stress factors and surprises to make you sweat!
